Newcomer questions

Before you come

Do I need dance experience? +
Not at all. The Beginner Camp is built specifically for people starting from zero. Even the Open Level pass has beginner-friendly classes mixed throughout the week.
Do I need to come with friends? +
No. OYOFE draws people from 53+ countries who arrive solo and leave with a crew. The parties and dinner show are the easiest places to meet people on day one.
Where does it all happen? +
The main home base is Carrer de Llull 121, in the Sant Martí neighborhood of Barcelona (08005). Specific party and event venues are listed on each ticket page.
What language is it in? +
OYOFE is fully international. Classes and events run in a mix of English, French and Spanish, and the community is used to switching between all three.
Can I just watch, not dance? +
Yes. The African Dinner Show, ShowOff Night, battles and parties are all spectator-friendly. You can build a whole festival without taking a single class.
Tickets keep saying "release" — what does that mean? +
Tickets sell in waves (early bird → 2nd → 3rd release) and prices rise as each wave sells out. If something you want is live, grabbing it early is the cheapest it'll be.
