Can't make it to Barcelona? Watch the livestream →A festival of African street dance can feel intimidating if you've never danced a single step. Beginner Camp exists so it doesn't. The classes are built specifically for total newcomers — slower pacing, gentler challenges, games and warmups, a room where nobody is judging.
You leave with the basics of Coupé Décalé, Jazze, Ntcham, Mbole, Afro Fusion, Mapouka, Makune and Biama — and with a crew of people you started this with.
Beginner Camp isn't a stripped-down version of the festival — it's the full thing, with the dance classes adapted to your level. You get access to all the moments that make OYOFE OYOFE.
Across 6 days. Each class introduces one African street style at a beginner pace.
African Dinner Show, ShowOff Night, lectures and screenings — full spectator access.
Watch the best African street dancers head-to-head on July 11 & 12. Spectator access included.
White Party, Block Party and more. The easiest place to meet the family on day one.
Your Beginner Camp pass includes spectator/attendee access to every public event of the festival week — not just the classes. Here's the full list of moments you can show up to:
